The initial welcome and staff were very pleasant. The breakfast staff were also pleasant. The room was roomy and easy to get to in the ground floor.

The room was way too hot with no fans or air conditioning. The walls are thin and you can hear every noise throughout the hotel. Room 101 that we stayed in is located right next to the public area bathrooms. Right up to 2am someone was using the public bathroom and each time the door closed it banged loudly which caused reverberation and loud noise in our room. We couldn't sleep from this plus the heat. I got up at 2am, went to reception and reported this to the night manager, he was very unapologetic and basically said:- "What do you want me to do about it, I can't stop people going to the bathroom, do you want me to stay holding the door all night?" I told him that for our best £200 per night this was not satisfactory. He was rude. Unfortunately I didn't get his name. In the morning we wanted to relax in bed to try to catch-up on lost sleep during the night. But the noise from the car park outside the windows and the hotel staff cleaning rooms etc and the general hotel noise along with thin walls was unbearable.

The hotel was beautiful, loads of parking an incredible room. Spacious, so clean and very comfortable. 7 minute walk from a Supervalue and other amenities and UCD! Would definitely book again!

Nice size room for a family. Clean and comfortable. Very nice staff. Food at the bar was good.
