Travelled solo with my dog. It’s a newly remodeled motel. The outside courtyard is so cute. I hung out there with my dog and read a book. Parking in front of my room was a great convenience. I felt safe and the room was “ok”. They could’ve done better on the remodel but better than a chain hotel. They have a bar, a food truck, and really friendly group of guests (everyone I encountered was probably over 45). The location was very industrial and I had concern but they have overnight walking security. I didn’t feel nervous at all about staying here alone.

"A Great Place To Get Off Of The Road!"

I've stayed at El Rey Court three times over the past few weeks and have enjoyed it every time! It's a charming place to rest after a long day of travel. Being able to grab some food from the food truck or a good drink from the bar without having to leave the property is wonderful.

The staff upon check-in could have been nicer. She couldn't find my reservation and made me feel like I didn't belong there. Once she found it she didn't apologize. Typical Santa Fe hotel staff. Not the friendliest.

Staff. Not rude. But not welcoming. The room was average at best.
