The Sayre Mansion

The room was huge and the bed was SO soft and comfortable! The history of the building and location was great. We loved the included breakfast and options available. Recommend for a nice staycation - a car is recommended to get to/from areas around town.

Edith was an excellent hostess , she spoke to me over the phone 1st. Answered my questions and whether they allowed dogs. And when we arrived with our black lab she gave us a tour and answered more questions. It was our 1st bed and breakfast. I have to say, if they're all like Sayre mansion I'll never go to a hotel again. All staff were very accommodating and our breakfast was made to order. They also had a generous assortment of baked goods and fruit and yogurt. A large assortment of beverages were also available in our room and in the living room. Fresh baked cookies were available for self serve. Our room was beautiful and well laid out. We stayed in 14 and had a private patio with seating. All our wants and needs were acceded. It rained during our trip so we couldn't enjoy sitting outside but we still enjoyed our stay. We would certainly stay again in future.

Beautiful. Very clean & well kept. Great bed linens. Little details like snacks in front parlor was nice too. Wait staff at breakfast was great.

comfortable rooms, great staff, interesting building, furnishings, and architecture. I'd go stay again no prob. Expedia rate was much better deal than the reg rate though.
