Aqua Resort Club Saipan

I like this hotel although the location is not very convenient

the stay was quite good. just the bbq closed too early.

We stayed there 5 nights and it was one of the best hotel experience we have ever had. The hotel is located right on the beach about 10 minutes drive north of the Garapan tourist area. It is beautifully designed so that the rooms are in small clusters of 11 - 12 rooms per 2-floor building. All rooms open to the exterior. The gardens surrounding each building make it feel like you are separated from other guests. There are two large swimming pools (although one was under maintenance while we were there). If you want a beach front room, be sure to book a room in building 6, and ask for a ground floor room. You will be able to walk around 60 feet across the grass and be right on the beach. Our room was large, well-appointed, very clean, and very quiet. They rearranged the two twin beds into one king bed for us at no additional charge. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, every request was met with a smile and handled immediately. Food at the restaurant was also very good with a large variety of choices for western, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean guests. So, if you a looking for a quiet 5-star place to stay outside of the Garapan area, this is where you want to be! It is not surprising that local residents in Saipan tell you this is the best hotel on the island.

Great stay. You can't beat waking up to the Marianas Kingfisher call in the morning, the garden outside the room, and freedom from the noise of congestion and construction.

The resort starts to be a little outdated. The finish and maintenance have to improve. The location is superb but the resort does not use it in full. The deep pool is under refurbishment which should be finished by middle of April. No prewarning of the works when booking. Breakfast did not meet the cost. In general well satisfied.

Requested a late check out the day I checked in...two days later, I was going to check out and I kindly reminded them of my late check out. With no eye contact and an attitude, the two female front desk staff told me about the cost and said it was subject to availability as if I couldn't afford it. Instead of apologizing that they were unaware, and offered me a solution they just threw me and my guest an attitude....everything was great until I was treated far differently than a Asian tourist...just because I'm local, does not mean I'm not with means. Back when I resided in saipan, I chose Aqua as my preference to hold my trainings. I'm sure they appreciated it as this when the economy was at an all time low. Now that the economy is at a upswing, there was no reflection from the past. People who work for any organization should know the history and be very thankful for any guest that chooses to reside. I was embarrassed. Never again we will stay there.

Room is a bit old style & not every room is clean thoroughly, the house keeping is a problem. 180 sea view in front of hotel & beach is clean with clear water, but no safeguard from the hotel there. Swimming pool is quite small with an unfriendly safeguard, so this really ruined our holiday's mood... Most hotels in Saipan are very old, so there's no better option besides this one.

My overall experience at Aqua Resort Club was great. I felt very welcomed and the entire staff was very nice. However, there was an unfinished yogurt in the refrigerator that was probably left by the previous guest who stayed in our room. Other than that, our stay at this resort was wonderful.

A great stay, outstanding food, service, etc. Incredible value for money.New years eve was brilliant and the dinner show group were such a pleasure to watch they really looked like they were enjoying themselves. The only improvement I'd make would be a little bit more facilities for the kids. There is a great big feild next to the hotel and they could quite easily put a climbing frame there or something.

Used to stay at PIC in late 90's with small children multiple times during spring break. Aqua Resort has more of secluded beach and away from the local town.. Beach access right outside of the patio was excellent. Friendly staff. NO good internet connection! A bit better in the lobby area but still not good at all.
