Lovely 2 bedroom house with private garden

The balcony and location.

Door and key access (only 1 key no key safe) Garden - unusable and very dirty. (cat mess) Bbq - unusable and dirty. Furniture - very old (mix and matched) Kitchen equipment - poor with broken drawer and hanging wires. Sofa bed - unusable and dirty. Bedding - old and worn (purchased new pillows and single sheets. 2nd Bedroom - double bed open can not close door. Hot water- minimal only one hot shower at a time. Balcony canopy- very old and noisy at night time can be heard all night when windy in both bedrooms.

Die Lage der kleinen Villa ist definitiv ein Pluspunkt. Sie liegt sehr zentral, der Strand sowie eine Mall sind in kurzer Zeit erreichbar – perfekt für Strandtage und Shopping.

Leider entspricht der Zustand der Unterkunft nicht den Erwartungen. Die Villa ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders die Küche ist stark abgenutzt: Die Spüle tropft, eine Schublade ging beim Herausziehen kaputt, Kabel hängen offen herunter und zudem herrscht ein unangenehmer Geruch. Auch die Fenster sind stark verstaubt und der Türknauf fällt beim Schließen heraus. Das Badezimmer im unteren Stockwerk wirkt auf den ersten Blick sauber, bei genauerem Hinsehen zeigen sich jedoch deutliche Mängel. Die Fugen müssten erneuert werden, der Duschwasserhahn tropft dauerhaft und aus dem Abfluss kommt ein unangenehmer Geruch. Auf der Etage befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer. Im größeren Schlafzimmer steht ein sehr großes Bett, sodass sich die Zimmertür nicht vollständig öffnen lässt. Zudem war das hinterlegte Bettlaken verschmutzt. Die Schränke sind zwar groß, innen jedoch schmutzig und stark abgenutzt. Das kleinere Schlafzimmer ist mit einem Metallbett ausgestattet, die Matratzen waren ebenfalls schmutzig und auch hier lässt sich die Tür nicht richtig öffnen. Besonders enttäuschend war das gebuchte Babybett: Es war stark verschmutzt und zudem defekt, sodass ein Aufbau nicht möglich war. Zusammenfassend ist die Lage sehr gut, der Zustand der Unterkunft und die Sauberkeit lassen jedoch stark zu wünschen übrig. Hier besteht dringender Renovierungs- und Wartungsbedarf.

The decor was dated & quite dark. One of the bedrooms was very small, also there was limited bedding.

The owner had been notified in advance, and accepted we would arrive later than standard arrival window. The caretaker received us well. All pictures in Booking.com showed an excellent and accurate presentation of the house. It was particularly liberating without neighbors who might be heard through a cardboard wall at a hotel.

1. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived, so we had to clean us the Muslim way, using our left hand ! 2. Several light bulbs were burnt out, in the large sleeping room and in the livingroom. 3 Tha caretaker was not particularly cooperative, so we had to call the owner in Slovenia and ask how to turn the TV on. It showed to be a button at the back. 4. The sunbeds in the garden were dirty and had no matresses. 5. The bolts on the lock for the main entrance door were sticking in the lockpiece in the door frame. I voluntared to smooth the lockpiece with a tool file, but the caretaker was not interested. She said it was better to shake the door to get it open. As a result we never used the main entrance door beeing afraid to be locked out, and used the entrance to the large bedroom from the garden.

The house is in a very good place at the center of Puerto Rico.

1.the woman the gave us the keys wasn't nice and and tuke 100 euro for giving us the keys - that wasn't written when we ordered the apartment. 2.we needed to leave at night because of our flight so we had problem with here to give here the keys and recieving out 100 euro back. 3.the place have a cockroach problem they were is the refrigerator, kitchen, in the entrance yaaaaake.
