Tradewinds Beach Resort

Upkeep of maintenance poor in our room which led to unclean conditions. We live in Florida so we are aware of the bugs but mitigation steps need to be taken in order to keep them out of the house/room. Dead roach under the bureau and bunch of the little bugs in kitchen and bathroom due do not properly sealed. Had to keep the food off the counter. There are so many places to rent on this island that this would never be a consideration again. Dante at the front desk was very pleasant but the younger girl very angry and unpleasant.

Trade winds is a picturesque and well appointed resort with good quality self catering accommodation and a shared pool as well as being only 50 yards from the beach. We have stayed there several times now and love Tradewinds and AMI and all it has to offer - plenty of restaurants, pretty houses, convenient high quality supermarket, easy cycling,agree trolley service and of course miles of well maintained white sandy beaches. Who can ask for more? Ideal for couples and families. Cant recommend enough.

A fabulous resort on a wonderful island - less than 100 metres from both the Gulf of Mexico and the inland waterway. Friendly staff, very well maintained and excellent value for money. We have been coming to Tradewinds for 17 years and it never disappoints.

This was my 3rd time staying here. Pet friendly. Deluxe north cottages and Bayfront cottages were great. beach directly across the street. Pets are not allowed on beach. Some restaurants within walking distance and pet friendly. Check in was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I will be staying there again. They also have swimming pool . I highly recommend it. The Bayfront cottage has beautiful view .

Had a nice stay. Just across the street from the beach. Nice walking distance to restaurants. and shopping. A bit small for 4 people

We liked the individual cottages. We liked having a separate bedroom. We liked the porch. It was very quaint

I was disappointed that there was no TV in the bedroom and there were cockroaches in the room

The Tradewinds has a pier of its own as well as a swimming pool. The individual cottages are charming! Our cottage (26)had a small kitchen which was convenient for Thanksgiving. It also had a small dishwasher and detergent packets and everything needed to clean up. The coffee pot was an added perk. We will come back to this property!

This place was great. The pool is very nice and clean as well as heated. The staff was amazing and very helpful and the beaches are absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be back next year! Was worried about the price but it’s worth every penny.

Worked out great for us. Great area.
