Hilton Garden Inn Gettysburg

On July 26, I had a surprise retirement/birthday party in the ballroom, for my husband, Jeff. Taylor Itterly organized the event, along with Sabrina and Maggie! The room was beautiful, they did an excellent job decorating the room, it was perfect! They had a buffet all set up, took care of everything. Christy was our bartender and did a wonderful job! They had Jeff’s favorite music playing in the background. They had corn hole boards set up outside along with 2 decorated hightop tables for anybody to go outside. They had a trivia game about Jeff. Everything was perfect. They took care of everything so I didn’t have any worries! They also had luxury rooms for our guest that traveled more than an hour. Guests stayed for a couple days because they wanted to see the iconic Gettysburg, like a little mini Vacay. A big shout out & special thanks to all Hilton Garden staff of Gettysburg, they made our event so Grand, Wonderful, Amazing, Spectacular, must I say more, it was EPIC! So if you’re looking for a venue or any event large or small, contact Taylor Itterly, or any of the other staff at Hilton Garden Inn in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. They will make it extra special because that’s what they do. They go out of their way to pleasure you! Thank you again Hilton Garden Inn and Gettysburg!

Water smelled really bad

I really enjoyed this hotel. The front desk staff was amazing. Tim was extremely friendly and helpful when we had to back because my daughter left something behind. The restaurant was small but amazing! My only complaint is that our room was right behind the elevator so that’s all we could hear if the tv was off. Otherwise, I would definitely choose this property again.

Allison in the restaurant was super Austin at the front desk along with the lady that worked with Austin was great

Lobby is also seasonally decorated. I like that! Staff were nice. Room was clean. Overall pleased.

We loved this Hilton property. It’s 7 mins from Downtown Gettysburg - sleep away from loud crowds but stay close to attractions. Furniture is a bit dated but beds and pillows are very comfortable and carpet is fresh. Our favorite part was breakfast! It was an unexpected surprise. They have a great chef making omelettes, french toast, etc. Eggs are fresh - not pre made. Bacon is crisp - not soggy. Greek blueberry parfait is delicious. This location also has a large concession stand with Pop Tarts, Mike & Ike’s, Pringles, at reasonable prices. Staff was very attentive too. Will definitely come back!!

Great experience. However, phone number for front desk and even calling from cell didn't work so we couldn't contact the front desk to ask about the TV. If you don't have a Netflix or Disney account, you cannot watch TV. Very minor issue but still a great experience. Also, we forgot to look to see if the hotel offered a continental breakfast. They do not. It's $13.90 for adults and $10.90 for children. You will also get charged $3 for a room temperature bottle of water if you are not a platinum member. Extra costs seemed excessive but a nice. clean place to stay.
