It was OK. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Just not memorable. We had a late check in and the lady on the front desk explained how it worked and sent us the codes we needed as promised.

Not having staff on the front desk for longer is a bit of an issue. When we checked in we found a group of older people at the door, they couldn't figure out how it worked so we let them in and got them their room keys. If we hadn't arrived they would have been in the cold for much longer and it wasn't our responsibility to let them in. We checked out early too and had to go through a procedure. Someone should be on duty from 6.00am until at midnight. A friendly check in and check out makes a big difference.

Time to change the carpets in the lobbies, a high-grade commercial carpet would make the apartments seem really new and modern

It was a great location right in the centre of Christchurch, right where the tram tour ride begins. Spacious and clean. Friendly, helpful staff as well.
