Grand Summit Hotel - Canyons Village, a RockResort

We were welcomed warmly by the valet and all our needs were accommodated. I had used Booking.com to relay a message to the hotel to please have our pullout bed made upon arrival. That was missed but staff provided bedding upon request. Since we were there during 'mud' season, our choices were limited. However, the shuttle to Main St. was a very appreciated option. We went to the grocery store for a few creature comforts on the first night, but ordered room service most days because the prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious!! We swam everyday and used the spa-like locker rooms for great after pool showers with big fluffy towels and great smelling shower supplies.

The only reason we stayed during early May was to get some R&R after a work conference. I carefully selected this hotel because on all the phone apps - it shows their facilities were OPEN. This was NOT the case. The restaurant still showed open online when we arrived and it was clear, in person, that the town was shut down :( Please do better to update apps to show real time hours of operation. Most in the hospitality industry know to have a few restaurant/activity suggestions in their pocket and put a positive spin on the unfortunate aspects of someone's vacation. Most did. However, we did get tired of hearing from one young valet, "It's a bummer you are here now. It's way better next month." And suggesting mountain biking/ATV to a grandma/little boy/mom combo. Have some concrete options handy for travelers in the off season, and most importantly update the hours of availability!! One more thing - we got a deal, but if I was paying full price, I would not have put up with a non-working lamp and window shade that took away from the gorgeous view. Since it is a owner/condo room, make sure they take care of these things before renting out.

Property was amazing with all the amenities and onsite services. The valet/concierge was top notch and it was even off season.

The pillows do the beds were horrible.

Loved the vicinity to the the gondola and orange bubble lift. As well as being close to shops and restaurants within walking distance. I went to both sides of park city and I enjoyed the swank of canyons village more. Great hot tubs. Room service was good portions. Friendly valet team and shuttle drivers
