Estaban en refacciones y por lo tanto había polvillo y golpeaban muy temprano en el techo y por la tarde tambien,poco espacio para estacionar

I'll start with the positives. My partner and I booked this hotel on a last minute trip to Sorrento and arrived to friendly and helpful staff, a free welcome drink (always a bonus) and a beautiful room in the annex section. We even had a sea view, a bonus which we hadn't paid for. On Wednesday night they had live music in the bar area which was really lovely! However, there were a few things that pulled down this 4-star hotel to 3 -star in our eyes. First of all, the annex building would often have a sewage smell which wasn't pleasant (although we never had this issue when we went into the main building). Secondly, we didn't use the pool area at all as there were building works happening here - we were allowed to sit here but with all the construction noises it didn't make for a very relaxing area. The hotel itself is a little bit outside of the main centre of Sorrento, which is perfectly fine, except half of the 20-25 minute walk to the centre doesn't have a pavement, so you end up walking along the windy cliff road on which drivers are going pretty fast. The hotel puts on a shuttle service but we only ended up taking the shuttle twice as they weren't that frequent (although this might not be the case in peak holiday season). I think it would help if the shuttle bus was once an hour, rather than having 2-3 hours between each one. Finally, we had breakfast included in our package. While we were grateful that there was a wide selection available at breakfast, we would describe a lot of it as mediocre, with a lot of the bakes being quite dry and the bacon overly fatty. The hot water tap when making a cup of tea was a bit busted in that it sprayed out and I scalded my hand a bit too. A lot of these things can be sorted pretty easily, and I'm sure the building work will be completed by peak holiday season. If these things are fixed this place could easily get a higher rating from us!

Amabilitatea angajaților. Atât ds la recepție cât si personalul din restaurant ( unde am luat micul dejun inclus in preț . Ps: micul dejun nu a fost deloc spectaculos si in proporție de 90-95% in 6 dimineți cât am mâncat au avut aceeași mâncare ) Curățenia a fost făcută zilnic, prosoape curate si de calitate.. ( Ps: pe balcon NU sa făcut curățenie ...erau inclusiv materiale de construcții căzute in balcon de la angajații ce renovau de deasupra... )

Lipsa papuci de unică folosință, având in vedere ca totuși este un hotel de 4 stele într-o zonă de lux as putea spune Se lucra la renovare...ceea ce a creat un mic disconfort si in plus , nu am putut beneficia in totalitate de toate facilitățile descrise în booking.com . In poză pe booking.com apărea cameră cu vedere la mare.... in schimb am primit o cameră cu vedere sin spatele hotelului ( nu spre mare ) Locuri de parcare puține. A trebuit sa las mereu cheia la recepție si sa o cer de fiecare dată când am avut nevoie de mașină ( au spus sa las cheia in caz de trebuie sa o mute ei in alt loc ) Toaleta mi sa părut îngălbenită puțin ( nu știu exact de ce...poate nu a fost folosită o perioadă de timp îndelungată)

Frühstück war ok.

Gebucht haben wir ein ruhiges DZ im Nebengebäude mit Dachterrasse und Pool. Leider wurden wir im Hauptgebäude neben dem Fahrstuhl einquartiert. Dort hörte man alles, da der Boden im gesamten Stockwerk gefliest und das Treppenhaus offen ist. Es roch nach Essen im gesamten Gebäude. Die Lüftungskanäle sind nicht schallisoliert und man konnte alle Gespräche aus den Nachbarzimmer hören. Der Pool war defekt und die Dachterrasse immer geschlossen. Die Tapete hing teilweise runter, Der Balkon zeigte deutliche Risse mit verrosteten Bewährungseisen. Das Abendessen spiegelte die finanzielle Situation des Hotels wieder. Billiges Fleisch und Dosenpasta waren schlichtweg ungenießbar. Der angebliche kostenlose Shuttleservice kostet ab Nachmittag dann doch 2 Euro pro Person. Selten war noch ein Platz frei.

The hotel rooms are dated and definitely need renovation. However, the breakfast was awesome, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The hotel has a great swimming pool with a nice bar, and the garden offers a beautiful atmosphere. There is live music along with a buffet that includes many options at a reasonable price—unfortunately, we missed it. There is also a rooftop with an amazing view and live music, which adds to the overall experience. We had a one-night à la carte dinner, and the quality was amazing. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the city center, which is very convenient. If the rooms are renovated, this hotel could easily be considered a 5-star property.
