€140 a night. Ridiculous

The staff were polite and hospitable. The bed was comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The shower was hot and there were lots of clean fluffy towels.

Our room was on the road so if you prefer a quiet room ask for one at the back of the hotel

It was hard to find a hotel in Bologna during our March 2018 vacation, so we stayed here. It was between Florence and our next destination which was Florence. That's the best thing about the hotel. It was dated. The TV was absurdly small. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest it could be. Breakfast was more continental with very few hot or cooked items. Lastly, we paid $150 through Priceline. Then when checking out the Manager (Owner?) charged us 10 more euros for "tax". Every other hotel we stayed in during our vacation in Italy only charged 2euro per person tax. 10 euros is not a huge amount I admit, but we had already overpaid and this was an unpleasant surprise after an unpleasant stay. It had the feeling that we were taken advantage of because we were tourists, but perhaps there is a 10 euro tax in Bologna and nowhere else. I wouldn't stay here again.

There's plenty of parking available and wi-fi works fine. Breakfast is basic but OK. The furniture is really old and basic, but the room is clean so for one night is was manageable. There are very limited options to get anything to eat in the area in the evening, the town is empty and spooky in the evening. The main reason we stayed here was because prices were lower than in Bologna, but next time I'd pay more and stay in the city. Our room was facing the street which was totally empty in the evening, but in the morning it was very busy and noisy. Overall, the hotel was OK for a short stay but don't expect much
