Nothing really that we didn’t like

Excellent hotel for families. Lovely grounds with deer and ponies. Indoor/outdoor heated pools and jacuzzis. Great staff and facilities for children! Recommend highly!

No marmalade

Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the children. Cocktails were fantastic! Pools were so warm and great range of treatments available in the spa. Loved having access to the sauna and outdoor hot tubs. Room was very clean and we appreciated the biscuits and bottled water. We also loved the option to have a Yoto box in the room. Loved the games room so that the kids could play whilst we ate. The playgroup outside is a fab new addition too. The toiletries in the room were lovely.

Service was very slow for dinner and for 2 out of the 3 breakfasts we had. It took 20 mins to have our order taken for dinner and for breakfast and on our last morning the buffet was sparse. Having a hot tub that the kids could also use would be a welcome addition. The bathroom was compact and the rain shower was not very powerful.

A full range of breakfast items from hot food to cereals, grains, fruit, cakes and a choice of breads for toast. All this in a lovely setting overlooking a lawned garden area.

Food not great.

Lovely romantic getaway in a beautiful property - rooms were incredible and spacious with lovely views of the countryside. There were so many locations accross the property to sit and relax or enjoy a drink. The staff could not have been more accommodating and the spa facilities were incredible. I didn’t want to leave after this stay!! Not to mention the breakfast menu was lovely with a delicious vegan breakfast!
