"Pleasantly Surprised!"

We HIGHLY recommend this hotel! For the crazy-low price, we weren’t expecting the Ritz. We knew that we wouldn’t be spending much time in our room for this stay, so I just grabbed something cheap. We were sure surprised though! Since our daughter has chosen to go to college in Lincoln, we will certainly be coming back to Econo-Lodge though! When we walked into the first room, the heater sounded like it was going to blow up, so I went to the front desk to tell her & she simply gave us another room. (So we’ve actually seen 2 rooms) The rooms are very nice & extremely clean. They look to be upgraded in recent years as well. Check in & out was super easy & the lady was very kind. It was everything I look for when I am booking hotel rooms for my family’s travels. I just wish we always lucked out like this! Like I mentioned above, we will be spending more time in Lincoln over the next several years & will always try to book here first!!

"There are better places to stay for the price."

Room was clean, but kind of dated and shabby. The desk people were nice and very helpful. The local was, uh, like I wouldn't want to walk around there at night. Breakfast was there, but kind of "Rome Breakfast", a bun and coffee. As a cheap whistle-stop flop-house, this was fine. As a place to take my family, I considered just paying the tab and going somewhere else, but I stayed because I am cheap.

The room was disgusting. Dirt smeared all over walls and tub was filthy. There we’re spider webs in all of the corners. Only one flat sheet on bed.

"Ok if you just want to sleep."

This hotel was ok. The beds had flat sheets instead of fitted, so they didn't really stay on. The bathroom was tiny. The lights from outside shined in even with the curtains closed and kept me up most of the night. Free breakfast was pretty much all carbs, so that was not helpful for us at all. We stayed 2 days to visit UNL. Next time I think we'll look for somewhere else.

There were spiderwebs in the corners of the room. Rust on the door hinges. Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom was so small you couldn't take a shower without hitting your elbows on wall or almost falling into toliet. Free breakfast was just bagels and cereal with Luke warm milk
