The Sindbad

This hotel beat all my expectations. From arrival the staff were so friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The kitchen staff were simply the best with amazing food. Saturday dinner was buffet with great selection Every one is so polite. Great customer service through and through. Wonderful location and very easy to get to main attractions The rooms were so big and very clean A shower and bath so clean spacious It’s actually on the beach with one pool just squaring boundary with the sea it’s awesome The Carmel ride is boring although it’s sold by outside company The longe is massive cosy and warm I’ll definitely recommend especially to a family. Great hotel great services great value for money

Excellent hotel. All the staff team were friendly and helpful. We were on a golf break and before arrival the Hotel (Mohamed) sorted tee times for us. There the transit bus service to the Courses was excellent. Special mention must go to the courteous and efficient Hafedh in the restaurant and Jarlina who impeccably daily serviced our room . The pools and grounds are immaculately maintained. The bars are welcoming and comfortable.

Jalila was excellent, we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The beach view was incredible, pity about weather but it was to be expected in December.

Good location Rooms are a little cold but cleaned when required. Staff are very friendly, nice and helpful. Food is great and big portions

Amazing experience as a first time solo traveller. The waiters in the main buffet restaurant especially Hafedh made a special effort to greet me each morning & evening and remembered my drinks order. Another waiter (so sorry I can’t remember his name) would kindly always make sure my coffee was on my table ready to greet me each morning. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I also had a wonderful massage at the spa. All in all an amazing experience! Thank you.

lovely hotel.Very friendly bar,restaurant and bech staff.The rooms are very spacious and was cleaned to perfection by Jalila our room attendant.We always found something we liked at breakfast and dinner.The beach and pools were lovely too.The only small disappointment was no tea making facilities in the room.

The hotel it's self not too bad,but why I'm giving it a 3, we was in room 149 and room good,but around 7.30 in the morning workmen came ripping the room next door and others along the corridor when you came out of your room debris on the corridor.The food in the restaurant especially in a morning could be a lot better,the head waiter 10 out of 10 for him carnt remember his name but wore glasses and spoke very good English. The beach area beautiful and the food on the beach exceptional better than the restaurant inside.We know we have to spend the dinar in the country but when we arrived we changed some money and got a receipt and was told by 2 reception people that if we had any English money left we could exchange the dinar back into English money that didn't happen they then told us that we could exchange the dinar to English pound at the airport, the women who we saw at the airport exchange rate was very rude and said NO couldn't change it even though we had a receipt,so the hotel told us lies so was very angry about ,after the experience we had won't be going back to Tunisia.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at The Sindbad. The Sheharazad restaurant was a real highlight – the atmosphere was excellent, relaxed yet elegant, and the food was delicious. The service was outstanding throughout our visit. Mohammed and Belil in particular were fantastic – attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. They made sure everything was perfect for us and were especially kind and patient with our 1-year-old son, which we really appreciated. The friendly and professional attitude extended beyond the restaurant too – the bar and pool staff were excellent, always welcoming and happy to help, creating a really positive and relaxed vibe around the hotel. Overall, the Sindbad has a wonderful team who clearly care about their guests. We’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hammamet – a beautiful setting, great food, and truly exceptional service from start to finish.

Rooms had loads of space. Hotel is right on the beach. Buffet dinner, whilst not cheap by Tunisian standards, was certainly a big hit with my children.
