Club Wyndham Bay Voyage Inn

For a first time stay we had the view of the bay, close to the ferry and quaint shops and that was wonderful.

Convenient location...ferry near by to Newport

Well kept room, did enjoy the use of the little kitchen nook. Real plates and silverware was a nice touch. Comfy bed and very clean room.

Beautiful views of the Newport Bridge and very nice room. Isabell at front desk excellent interaction to help me enjoy a great birthday weekend.

The person who checked me in was very accommodating. Definitely would stay again.

I didn't realize that the room wouldn't be cleaned daily

Upgraded to a harbor view, which was so lovely. Layout of the suite was conducive to two couples sharing. A dip in the pool early morning was nice. Walkable to town. The history of the hotel, if you do your own research, is very interesting--it should be leveraged by the proprietors as is absent from any available sources within the hotel or on their website.

Very, very long wait to check in, while holding bagged formal wear and heavy bags, as a customer on the phone inquiring of a restaurant reservation preoccupied the gentleman for a very long time appx 15 minutes. Manually entering card information was required and it took a very, very long time for this to be actioned while the line behind me grew. Finally in the room, the humidity or sea air prevented any climate control and everything felt damp--rugs, sheets, etc. Called for dry sheets and was told to come down to get them-- remade bed. Very strong cleaning products in hallway. In a three day stay the room was not serviced. On day 3 requested fresh towels and was told to come down to get them. Loud outdoor AC units on balconies are a disservice to enjoying the outdoor balconies.

There was no breakfast !!! I did bring my own personal items, toothpaste, toothbrush, but a plastic glass to rinse would have been appreciated. Fortunately, I did some checking around and found in the cupboards above the coffee machine some cups. Also there were packets for the coffee machine, but I can't drink coffee, so a couple of tea packets would have been nice.

That I parked my car in the lot, yet had to walk around to the front door and up the stairs with luggage, which apparently is not taken to your room for you,

I loved the location and the water view.

They didn't tell me about the $250.00 dollar deposit that I had to put on the room. I should have gotten a balcony room. I reserved the room in January 7 months in advance. They don't serve breakfast at the restraunt.
