7 Gables Inn & Suites

No safety bars in bath. Everything is 2 stories up without landings. This is not for children or people with weak knees or hearts. Cleaning is done by foreign students who don’t speak English or have decent standards. It took 4 days to get fresh sheets & toilet water. Failed to mop floors for a week. Fruit flies were unrelenting.

Nice clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Exterior looks a little outdated. Staff was very friendly. Nice hot shower.

A great Alaskan experience!

The Inn walkway could use some deep cleaning other than that the room was pretty average. Breakfast was amazing and very filling, good job on the Pastries. Place fills up in the Summer considering the attractive pricing for the city of Fairbanks.

We were sent to an isolated location with no address, no ADA access, and filthy, unsafe conditions — including dried blood on the bed, broken windows, and a door that wouldn’t lock. We heard gunshots as we fled. The second location was just as bad: broken elevator, no ADA compliance, and unfit for anyone. Shockingly, the next morning, they offered us a suite — so why were elderly guests and a family dumped in such a dangerous place? This was a nightmare. Misrepresented on Expedia. Reported and filed a complaint. Avoid at all costs.

Bedroom didn’t have a window. Cleanliness was ok

This was a very different place to stay when compared to other places. The breakfast was home cooked vs many other places we have stayed. The only critique is that housekeeping came later in the afternoon, usually when we were resting.
