Brookwood Inn Branson

This was the cleanest and most convenient hotel. Staff was very helpfull. The price was unbelievable. Over all I give it a 10/10

It was great value for money — $70 per night for three people, including breakfast and a late-night dessert (9–11 pm for the after-theater crowd), was truly a steal. The hotel itself is very old but reasonably clean. However, there is no elevator. With my injured knee, climbing three flights of stairs was really tough. Had I known this earlier, I would not have stayed here. Another downside was the lack of attendants during breakfast and dessert sessions. Tables weren’t cleared, so many guests ended up eating breakfast while standing. Forks even ran out at one point, and since no one refilled them, everyone had to eat with spoons — which was oddly funny in the moment!

I liked the price of the stay. Breakfast was pretty decent, too. If we had our kids with us, they would have loved the desserts before bed.. The pool was nice for the whole 15 minutes I was in it. Our bed was decent, but it was obvious that it was very old by the discoloration water marks. I wish I could leave more positives, but....

Honestly, in this experience, we got what we paid for. A place to sleep. The review on booking made me feel like this was a STEAL of a deal, but after we checked in.... both of our jaws dropped. The lady at the desk when we checked in was "pleasantly" rude, number one turn off. The room was 90° because the air was off, but we didn't find that out until lugging our stuff to the third floor (no elevator). The room smelled awful - like a wet dog, honesty. My husband was less than impressed. The carpets are green and really need to be replaced - they edges along the walls have years of buildup on them, and it is 100% visible. There were multiple holes in the walls where something may have been hanging, but big enough that I was able to stick toilet paper in them to block said holes. Electrical colds /cord cover was just hanging off of the wall, too. The sink had brown gunk all around it as if it hadn't been cleaned in a good amount of time. The shower had multiple hairs in it, and on the surround along with it being stained / it was visible, there was a slip mat down for an extended amount of time. Towels were dingy with loose strings on them. The air sounded like it was going to blow up when the condenser kicked on. The parking isn't great if you've got a bigger vehicle either. We were so grossed out that we contacted booking.com & the front desk for early checkout - before even staying one night. After quite the conversation, we decided we would only be there to sleep, and it would just be another thing to worry about (getting refunded), so we decided to sleep our full 3 days there. We will not return to this motel, but for those who have the same plans of not being in the room too much, this place is great..

Very clean rooms with nice breakfast!

Desert was good. We have stayed here before and like it because of the location. Close to miniature golf and not so crowded.

We had no issues so nothing to dislike.

You get what you pay for.. breakfast was mediocre at best. Room smelt moldy. Pool was nice. Toiletries were terrible.

furniture was older and rooms could use a new look. it was a good price and rooms were adequate.
