Wyndham Newport Hotel

We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We met a friend in Newport

Amenities were great- there is a shuttle to Newport, a great restaurant, indoor pool, laundry facilities and an outdoor patio with fire pits.

We were placed right outside the patio- where there were a lot of events and live music in the afternoon. I wish they would have given us advance notice as I would expect they know it would be noisy in that location.

Location could be better.

Very uncomfortable beds … dangerous edges … clean but worn out …

Breakfast was good. I have two complaints. 1st- the tv situation, cable- we all want to watch our own streaming apps. Would be a valued upgrade to the stay. And 2nd: whenever I asked about a late checkout I got the run around instead of a direct answer. Just say no. Not calm tomorrow early, call at 9. Oops one more complaint- the shades are not sufficient at blocking out light . I need pitch blackness. These were light filtering. Otherwise if was sufficient. Thank you.

Location was minutes away from Newport

This was our second visit. My grandkids love the pool. The water is warm and the whole pool area was very clean. The room was spacious and we all slept well. Staff is so welcoming and helpful. We appreciated the Shuttle to downtown Newport! We will definitely be back!!

Our First night, we arrived and received paperwork from the Wyndham Newport, Rhode Island hotel that they are aware there is a problem with the water being brown. We were never informed of this prior to coming. We also were not informed of the weddings that were booked there. On Saturday, May 30 there was one particular wedding where the members were in the hallways and banging on our door and the walls till 2:30 in the morning. after a couple telephone calls to the office complaining that someone needs to get them under control, we finally fell asleep at 3:00,
