Homewood Suites by Hilton Dulles-North Loudoun

What a piece of sh-t! I've seen college dormitories in better shape! First off, Hilton's digital key wasn't working AGAIN! Once I got my card key, went to my room a d the card didn't work. Went back to the front desk for another and got a new key. It took failed to work. Ba k to front desk. They called maintenance and they couldn't get in either. So they changed my room. When I opened the door, I was taken aback - it was looking at Section 8 housing unit! I've seen better looking furniture at a salvage yard! The next morning I go to take a shower - no hot water. And even worse - no shampoo! I lost my composer & called and yelled at the front desk. I mean- WTF is the house keeping crew doing? Not to mention what looked like mold on the shower floor.

My son and I have stayed at Homewood Suites by Marriott, Dulles/North London several times over the past few years when attending Baltimore Ravens games. We stayed in a Suite. Unfortunately the last couple of times we stayed there the rooms have deteriorated. Carpets are dirty in the rooms and in the hallway. The Air conditioner was loud and rattled and the furniture was very old, dirty and looked like it needed a Bio Hazard team to come in and sanitize . They really need to do an upgrade

The facility needs updating. There was a bag of trash outside our window on the roof. Obviously been there for awhile. The shower control needed to be replaced. We had no shower gel in the shower. Didn't try the shampoo bottle. Several tiles in the bathroom were not attached to the floor. 2 ice machine were down had to walk to the other side of the building to find ice.

the staff is friendly and the place is clean

The only complaint we had was having to go to neighboring hotel for a luggage cart, lobby coffee, and sometimes to find the front desk staff.

Check-in was great. They have a dog exercise area which was great, with ample parking. However, the TV in our room was not working and we could not get anyone to help us. The desk clerk, who said he was the manager, told us they had "more severe issues to take care of" and said this was a low priority for them. Also the "bold" coffee tasted like hot water.

Couldn’t use the washer/dryer at this facility or the Embassy Suites which is attached. Employees state they have no idea why they don’t work but guests can call number on machine. This is poor management from Corporate. Employees also don’t know rules about toll road and HOV restriction on 66. Again poor management by Corporate.

As a peloton user I choose my hotels based on the access to a peloton bike. Although this place has one it was not in working function. I woke up early before my travel day to get a ride in and the bike did not work and required a passcode. When I asked front desk about it they said it was a maintenance thing and they’d be available in an hour, which didn’t work with my schedule. The gym at this place is very intimate and small. Staff wasn’t very friendly at check in or in regard to my peloton struggle. Breakfast offering was minimal and okay. Bed was comfy, shower was good.
