The Inn on Negley

Excellent service, beautiful and thoughtfully appointed room, terrific breakfast offerings and located in a charming old neighborhood, what a find! We We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you! We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the area and had one of our favorite meals on this trip only a few minutes walk from the Inn.

Clean and charming, with conventient parking, afternoon happy hour and a delcious breakfast. Staff was cheerful and competent. Nice toiletries and beautiful furnishings. Only downside was the steep flight of stairs to climb with our bags, not uncommon for a bed and breakfast in a historic building. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and had an enjoyable time. Everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful and our room (Empire) was comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated (especially the big bathroom). Breakfast was tasty and not overwhelmingly large, and we took advantage of wine hour as well as the cookies they put out. The B&B is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many restaurants, and also close to bus stops which was convenient as we were exploring Pittsburgh without a car and it was very easy to get around. We would recommend the inn and stay here again the next time we're in town.

Wonderful experience

High Tea here is not inexpensive. For the price paid, I expected a much better experience. We waited close to fifteen minutes past our reservation time in a crowded tight entryway for our table to be ready. The table itself was like a ski slope, so drastically slanted I couldn't believe they were using for tea service. The table cover was of boring banquet-hall stock, the flatware was not all silver, and only the tea cup and plate were china. The tea pots were not - they were very utilitarian boring, chunky tea pots. All in all so many small things could have made this a much more enjoyable an special experience. This is a miss. I cannot recommend this experience.

Took my daughter there for Cookies and Cocoa. It is a beautiful property, everyone is very nice, friendly and helpful. The cookies and the cocoa were amazing, impressive, delicious, and VERY reasonably priced! Will definitely be back!

I reserved a weekend at the Inn on Negley while my family explored some of my childhood holiday favorite spots in Pittsburgh. It was the perfect location to base our adventures, with lots of points of interest in the neighborhood and close proximity to every downtown destination. From delicious breakfasts in the festive dining room to the restful accommodations of our beautiful suite, the Inn was as much a part of our celebratory trip as the sites we visited. I would advise that the historic property does have some sound leakage between rooms, so it's best suited to adults looking for a relaxed, quiet retreat.

Absolutely wonderful. The staff is amazing and the property is gorgeous. We look forward to staying again in the future.

We so enjoyed our visit to the Inn of Negley! Our room was lovely, comfortable, and cozy with all the amenities needed, the staff was warm and friendly, the location was good, and the food was delicious. Thanks to all!
