Berkeley Inn

I would not recommend this property. The staff isn't very friendly and the room didn't smell very good.

First and formost

Will stay at the Berkeley and was all right they’re doing remodel there so they’re still working on some of the rooms. But once they finish the rooms look really good. The neighborhood is changing so this will help them.

Worst property owner and worst customers. I never use this hotel.

Comfy stay safe and private rooms affordable and accessible

The room was simple, but very clean. The owner was helpful. The new bathroom was a bonus. Location and price were excellent.

The rooms are very "average", but realistically have everything you need. Hotel is in a great location near excellent food options, stocked corner-stores and a couple great neighborhood pubs. Convenient access to NBerkeley BART (<5min walk) and busses on San Pablo & University.

No frills but acceptable for the price. Room was clean but they could make the building more inviting. It needs to be cleaned, painted, etc.

This day was pleasant

While the room was fairly average, being in the Berkeley area, you're only gonna wanna be in your room for sleeping. For this, this hotel is the perfect fit. For someone looking for larger spaces and a more luxury stay, I would highly recommend this if this is what you are looking to spend.
