We stayed at the Hotel Montaigne in one of their largest rooms and loved it! Our room was immaculate, quiet and comfortable with a King bed, air conditioning and elevator access - these are not easy to find in Sarlat. And it offered an excellent value! The people at the front desk were warm, friendly and helpful, and spoke great English. The location of this hotel is perfect - it's approximately two small blocks outside the historical center, which meant the Market Days did not inconvenience us. We loved our time in Sarlat and are very glad we stayed at this excellent hotel!

Het is een volledig gerenoveerd hotel dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Alles is heel schoon en modern. De ligging is perfect, 2 minuten lopen van het gezellige centrum van Sarlat.

Chambre spacieuse très confortable,petit déjeuner excellent,très bon rapport qualité prix.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional, the room (family room for the 3 of us, 2 twin beds and a king bed), very friendly and helpful service, clean, and in the heart of Sarlat. Bravo!

Excellent location, ideal for Sarlat and Dordogne

The room was nice but both room and bathroom were very small. Breakfast was disappointing for a hotel of this type: no savoury, no fresh fruits (apart from orange and apples, but in June one would expect something more)…
