A great location with a great view!

Steep steps up to the room.

The room was spacious and well presented, the dining room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Would of happily stayed a few more days if time allowed

Had the kippers for breakfast which were a bit disappointing, one window would not close properly and as it was very windy the first night, so a bit annoying.

Outstanding room, really spacious and clean.

This apartment is up a steep set of stairs behind the pub. Lovely views from two windows, however no double glazing so noise from wind was very loud and disturbed my sleep. The room is nicely decorated, has a good shower and clean white towels and bedding. The bed and pillows are quite firm and I’m used to something a little softer so felt a bit uncomfortable. Would probably try the Pennington hotel as all the amenities are there under one roof.

Ravenglass is an excellent place to stay just a small village right on the edge of the national park the steam train ride an experience not to be missed with a short walk to the hamlet of boot where either of the two hostelries with give you good food and service
