Great property with nice grounds. I lived in Sonoma for over 20 years and never realized how nice this place is. Good breakfast, wine shared, nice staff -- it's a winner. Had a cottage room with a good bed and bath. Highly recommended.

My experience at this property was extremely disappointing. The staff were consistently rude and unhelpful. After being told by the owner at check-in that I wouldn’t need to change rooms, I was later left a nasty message demanding I switch rooms mid-stay. When I explained I was attending a conference, I was threatened over text with police involvement or eviction if I didn’t comply immediately. The desk staff even went so far as to say the owner “doesn’t know anything” and blamed her. Beyond the poor treatment, the hotel itself is run down. Lights in the room didn’t work properly, parking is very limited and on a steep slope (another guest’s car was even scratched), and the building feels old and poorly maintained. There are too many stairs, and you can hear a lot of noise from other guests and the pool area. This property feels more like a cheap hourly-stay motel than a place suited for families or couples. Definitely not recommended.

Breakfast was decent, if spare. Staff were friendly, but seemed to not always speak English. Our room had a toilet and bath, but no shower which was weird. Bed was comfortable.

L’hôtel est mieux en vrai qu’en photo, nous étions réticent au départ mais lorsque nous sommes arrivés se fut un réel coup de cœur. L’endroit est magnifique, la chambre avec une grande salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner à table, l’emplacement était parfait. Parking gratuit. Recommandation à 100%.

Le petit déjeuner est « imposé » donc salé, une option sucré serait bien pour ceux qui ne peuvent pas manger du salé.

Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Nachmittags gibt es, wenn man mag, noch ein Glas Wein aufs Haus.

Die Unterkunft war nicht so sauber wie man sich das wünschen würde. Im Badezimmer lagen viele Haare auf dem Boden, die Dusche sah von außen sehr heruntergekommen aus und allgemein hätte die Unterkunft einfach sauberer sein können (Flecken an den Wänden, Speckgeruch rund um die Uhr, Grundsauberkeit). Außerdem ist die Unterkunft stark in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend nochmal renoviert werden. Es gibt im Hinterhof einen tollen Außenbereich, der jedoch auch mal gefegt und gereinigt werden könnte, um ihn einfach einladender und freundlicher zu gestalten. Leider habe ich mich aufgrund der genannten Punkte, vor allem in Bezug auf die Sauberkeit nicht wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, weshalb man auch nachts zum Beispiel die Toilettenspülung aus dem Nachbarzimmer hört. Diese Unterkunft hat meiner Meinung nach sehr viel Potenzial, vor allem wenn man Geld in eine Renovierung stecken, das Thema Sauberkeit angehen und generell mehr Liebe innerhalb und außerhalb der Unterkunft zeigen würde.

Wir waren in der Cottage, sehr privat. Das Frühstück konnten wir auf der Terrasse zu uns nehmen. Dir Lage ist günstig für Ausflüge.

Close to wineries, downtown Sonoma and great staff!

Real food at breakfast, no mystery eggs like at so many motel hot breakfast lines. Good places to sit outside. Close to downtown. I liked the small patio in the cottage.

The carpet on the stairs and in the hallway upstairs needs to be cleaned. There was a strand of hair in the freezer. The overhead fan and light didn't work. No one explained and there was no sign explaining that you have to both use the remote and turn on the light switch. It's possible the battery in the remote did not work. There was no shampoo in the bathroom in the cottage.
