Property is beautiful, warm and welcoming.

The only down side is that it is about 1-2 miles from down town, but worth the drive.

The Cloran Mansion is absolutely beautiful! Paul, our host was wonderful from the time I booked a room until checkout. The breakfast was fresh and served in courses. I highly recommend this property for your next Galena visit.

Very nice atmosphere and the owner, Paul, was very accommodating. The breakfasts were amazing, showing a lot of thought put into the dishes. Also loved the stories and history of the mansion.

Paul was an amazing host. The room beautiful and I appreciated all of the tiny details from the vanity in the bathroom to the lamps -- absolutely beautiful. The home cooked breakfast was delicious. I truly am amazed by the hospitality Paul and Janet provide!! Will definitely be returning

The Cloran Mansion was a unique experience with a location close to downtown Galena. The property is well-kept with beautiful grounds. In addition, the owner offers many tiny things that make the stay enjoyable... a room with coffee offerings, 100s of DVDs, snacks, etc... And the breakfasts are served in a formal dining room with a view of the local fields. Highly recommended. We'll be back.
