Had a wonderful 4-night writing retreat with a friend. Quiet, comfortable, beautiful location. Lovely parlor for writing during the day. Great food. We felt cared for and were able to get a lot done. Thank you so much!

I have been traveling around the world. This is the first time I was unable to check in when I arrived at the place. When I called to ask where to park (no space to park the car even blocks away), I found out check in instructions. I thought it may tell me where to park. Entering the Check in Instructions, it says you have to check in before 7pm. Otherwise you need to contact them in advance. It was not shown anywhere but was buried layers down. I checked my email. It only says you can check in after 3pm (normal). But didn’t say must before 7pm (never heard of it). No text messages and No emails about this unusual check in way. I called several times. No one picked up a call. I had to book a room at another hotel.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful in making suggestions for things to do or how to go about them. Breakfasts were so delicious and our bed was more comfy than the resort we stayed in at our next stop!
