"Loved this place"

10.0

I was there for a couple of days with my wife and she loved it. The place is located in the lower garden district. Super cozy, there was a nice funky vintage vibe to it. It also had a swimming pool that is heated, a bar, a cafe and a fancy restaurant (San Lorenzo). We pretty much enjoyed being able to take long walks on Magazine Street and visit great local restaurants. Another thing to notice is the staff, we have been by Alejandro who was very attentive and made sure we had a great stay

"Small sanctuary in the heart of New Orleans"

10.0

What a beautiful little oasis! For a small hotel the amenities are first class. Have stayed in some of the most famous hotels in New Orleans and this little sanctuary punches way above its weight class! Great staff, great venue, great amenities.

"Exceptional"

10.0

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, I would highly recommend staying here. It’s walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short ride to the action of the French quarter. I felt sort of like a celebrity staying here. The vibe is really cool and fun but relaxing. I went and visited some of the other 4 and 5 star hotels I had looked at and was really happy I chose this one. If you can afford a veranda it’s worth it.

"Vampire Suite?"

10.0

My wife and I are adventurous travelers and visit News Orleans semi frequently for a foodie fix. We wanted to experience a new property and chose the St. Vincent after doing a little research about location and accommodations. We had an excellent experience and especially enjoyed suite 208. Dare I call it the Vampire Suite? It rained the three days we were there, and it made the interior dark, comfortable, and mysterious in that classic, old city way. The suite has generous outdoor spaces if you want to relax with a book between culinary conquests. One of the bars was equally dark. As we were enjoying a well-made Sazerac, a manager entered and proclaimed the space too bright. I couldn't quite see her in the dimly lit room, but I imagined she was pasty white with long teeth, and blood-red fingernails. Interestingly, one of the best meals we had this trip was during brunch at the hotel's restaurant. It was accompanied by sparkling white wine, but I bet they serve a wicked Bloody Mary.
