The property is really convenient for a stay close to Sintra Cascais. It’s nicely decorated, spacious with a super pleasant courtyard to enjoy. We appreciated how quiet and beautiful days we spent there.

The shower water pressure doesn’t work at all and the hot water was impossible to regulate. The staff tried to respond to our concerns and promptly came over to assess the situation. Unfortunately there were no plumbers available over the weekend to properly understand the time frame for the repairs. We understand that these accidents can happen and hope the next guests may have a proper functioning hot water temperature in the only shower in the property.

The house is in a great location near the coast and nature park. We selected the house primarily on the basis of location, which was perfect for our needs, and accepted that it was on the expensive side. Spacious and well-equipped with a small patio and some lovely design features in the reno's.

The booking is handled by a company rather the owners. We were told upfront of EUR120 cleaning fee, which makes the property less good value for a short stay. For that level of fees I would expect exceptional cleanliness. Whilst the property was clean and well-presented, there were some areas where cleaning could be improved, such as an unwashed and used cooking pan. Olive oil was provided for cooking but only 2 tiny hotel-style soap bottles. We were also charged a late arrival fee, again communicated in advance, due to a late arriving flight, this could be improved by using a lockbox
