Great location, plenty of dining options close by. Excellent location near New River Gorge.

This property was a perfect for our overnight stay before rafting the New River. The breakfast area is large with a good selection of food items. The staff was helpful.

There was very little I liked about my 4 days stay. The only thing positive that I can say is that it was clean but very worn and dated. The elevators had major issues! One was shut down shortly after I checked in. The other would overheat and flip the breaker. for the young lady desk clerk to know how to go outside and to the electrical room and know how to reset the breakers after it had cooled down. That let me know that it has been an ongoing issue. A note was posted in the elevator, the inspection reports were available in the manager's office. I was caught in the elevator my first day. Everyone was getting trapped. Sunday morning at check out time they were not working A guest called down to complain and was hung up on by the same person that told me she did not give a s#%t if I call the fire Marshall and do what you have to do. Wyndham should pull their franchise if they do not meet their standards and safety standards.

I recently booked accommodations at your hotel for a group of employees attending training in Summersville. Upon arrival, after packing my belongings onto a cart, I discovered I was assigned a room on the fourth floor, but unfortunately, the elevator was out of service. Due to timing constraints related to the training schedule, I had no choice but to repack my belongings into my car and unload again after the training concluded. At checkout, I encountered further inconvenience. With my cart fully packed once again, we waited approximately 20 minutes for the elevator. Eventually, I had to call the front desk, and the staff reset the elevator. However, given the repeated malfunctions, using the elevator felt unsafe and unsettling. Additionally, two of my employees had to relocate rooms on the second night due to scheduled carpet cleaning. While the staff members were courteous, the ongoing elevator issues significantly impacted our experience. Due to these challenges, I will not be booking at this location again in the foreseeable future.

We have stayed at this location several times, but Im afraid this will be the last. The staff has become less than cordial. We went for breakfast and the lady in the kitchen was very rude. The breakfast is a far cry from what it used to be. We got a clogged toilet and they had no facilities people. We had to do that ourselves. Guess Ill stay across the street!!
