The Kendall

The Kendall has a rich variety of rooms and cottages to choose from!

When we checked in the charm of The Kendall Inn was evident. It's as if you are stepping back in time The young lady that checked us in was so helpful We had not made a reservation. She took me and showed me available rooms. We stayed in The Sewing Room. We liked it because it faced the courtyard. We build a fire that evening and sat outside to enjoy the evening. It is definitely not a new hotel. You stay here for the charm of this place. The downfall for this room was the mattress. Definitely needs to be replaced. It was not comfortable which made for a long night.

This place is absolutely amazing! Beautiful rustic ambience and homey feel. Like stepping back in time, but with all of the newer amenities. The only bad thing was the Wi-Fi was terrible, and the cable TV didn't work well.

Beautiful quaint hotel with tons of chatacter. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was excellent except we had no hot water in our Blanco 1 unit … therefore, we could not take any hot showers … the cold shower was stimulating!

We planned a hill country weekend with us staying at The Kendall the first night. Parking is crazy especially with an event going in across the stress but once you park you don’t really need to drive anywhere. Perfect location to walk everywhere. Our TV didn’t work and it was chilly so the heater in the bathroom not working made mornings a little rough after showering. The young lady in the front was amazing though. With Peggy’s on the Green being right there I did wish they had some seating available for the guest staying at there hotel because they had no tables available that evening due to them being booked. Overall beautiful place, now that we know the layout we will be prepared. Cute charming little place. Very hallmark vibe.

We stayed in Blanco house 2 ,for 2 nights, we arrived on Wednesday 11th December, no water pressure in bathroom, but we considered being old, that might be reason, we did not shower first night, tried to shower on 12 th Thursday, had to turn water on to full flow because of pressure, water only was Luke warm and became cold, could not finish the showering. Tried again on our last day Friday 13 th, same thing. The blanco house 2 was nice, heater worked great, the place is beautiful, only water and pressure issue. When checking out we let the lady at check out desk know was went on, no supervise on duty, we asked for call back from management, was told she would call us back, we asked for some compensation on our stay, we have not gotten any calls from the Kendall Inn ,it’s been exactly a week today December 18th that we were there. Not happy with them not reaching out. I called on Monday the 16 th December,was told no manager there again, the staff that took call , said she will have her call us back. Still have not heard back. Not sure I will stay at Kendall Inn again.

Had the pleasure to stay in a historic 1800s wooden cabin with all the amenities of comfort. It was very romantic and my wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Perfect location for activities and shopping in this area. Seriously needs updating. I really wanted to love this hotel, but the location was not worth the other sacrifices. We won’t stay here again.
