Astoria Hotel

My luggage was too large for the room, making things inconvenient, but the staff kindly upgraded me to a better room on the spot, free of charge..There are restaurants on both sides of the lobby, and the food is very delicious, especially the fried food..Located in the heart of the city, it is very convenient—close to parking and markets, .In any case, I highly recommend this hotel.I was very grateful.

Es sentia molt el soroll exterior, era tremendament calorosa tot i el fred de l'exterior.

Great location … free parking available opposite … friendly staff.

Not really a case of ‘didn’t like’ more a case of brutal honesty …. It was clean … it was comfortable BUT it is so very ‘tired’ … it’s ( maybe ) a 100 year old family(?) owned hotel and it needs so much ‘done’ to bring it up to date but it won’t happen unless it gets sold off , shut down and ripped apart… that would be a shame but otherwise that carpet is never going to get changed and a lick of paint won’t change it. Not complaining just observing.
