You will love this place if you are a nature lover or a photographer. Beautiful black sand beach, sea stacks, waterfalls…The restaurant food not so impressive but should be understandable.

The room was large and spacious and as pictured with good AC The resort was quiet and isolated which made for a rest full stay. They were able to setup tours from the resort as well as airport transportation. The downside to the resort is that is only 1 restaurant on site. The food was poor to average and very overpriced with no fresh seafood options so bring lots of snacks. Half of the staff were friendly and the a few seemed to be annoyed with helping

This is an absolutely beautiful and special place. Our room/suite was huge inside with a nice sitting area, a gigantic bathroom and very large bedroom. Wraparound balcony. The beach faces east to the Atlantic and mostly no one is there, outrageously gorgeous. Sunrise is spectacular. The restaurant has very nice freshly made food, very thoughtfully prepared, tasty. Less local-style cuisine than we would prefer and not a super wide array of options for vegetarians staying for 5-6 days but still very enjoyable and they are very accommodating. Fantastic included breakfasts. Pool is great, small but few people using it, and very nice, clean, good temperature. The grounds are beautiful, lush green with flowers, and the sounds (birds, frogs etc) are fabulous. The river is very pretty going down to the sea. The gym is cute and we did use it. There is no AC in it and the humidity is intense to work out in but I was glad for the opportunity. This is not the place for people looking to be around populated-type activities like going out to eat, and not easily accessible to the west coast tourist attractions. It’s also not a luxury-type resort with fancy-place vibes. This is for you if you are looking for remote, quiet, reasonably-priced real nature spot that is unique and special and has a local feel to it. Clean and comfortable and incredibly peaceful with stunning natural beauty.

Great property and staff were very accommodating. The front desk called me when I landed to let me know the kitchen was closing and if we wanted pizza since we would arrive late. The pizza was waiting in our room. And on the last night (Christmas Eve) we asked the staff in the restaurant if we can get some local food. They were so happy to oblige. Great Island, great resort, great people!

Beautiful location and hotel. Nice restaurant, however dinner menu is a bit limiting, especially for vegetarians, offering only 1 vegetarian entree. The menu doesn’t rotate during a week, so if you have a long stay, it gets boring unless you go eat other places. Breakfast was very nice. Staff nice and helpful.

It was a memorable experience. Would most definitely return.

Beautiful stay near Atlantic coast with spa and restaurant on site. The food was all delicious; the pool refreshing and nearby river and ocean spectacular, watched the sunrise every morning from the benches near the beach and had dinner every night at the restaurant - pizzas and everything on menu fantastic as are the drinks from the bar

Excellent hotel on beach. Large rooms. Very good restaurant. It is on the opposite side of island from most tourist stops so it help to have a car.

The resort was very accommodating and the room was large and the bathroom was very nice and clean. The pool was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the seeing the ocean from our balcony.
