The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Les Strélitzias, Antibes Juan-Les-Pins

Considering its a 3 Star hotel, its was good value for money. The location is very nice - only a five minute walk to the beach and 10 min to the ‘main’ restaurant area of Juan les Pins. We had a decent room at the top (6th floor / corner) with 1 x king size and 2 x single beds for the kids. Breakfast was so/so but was included. Cannot say it’s worth EUR 16/head if not included.

Close to the public beach. Staff was not very friendly and parking was challenging and complicated (I.e. had to drive around the building, wait to be buzzed in by staff, etc.).

Located nice and close to the beach. Rooms were nice and clean. Our balcony was a nice place to relax and have a drink. Recommended.

Such a nice place if slightly dated. Well built and very nicely cared for. Good breakfast too except for the coffee. Approachable maids. The front desk was always busy though and only one woman spoke English and she was less than friendly. Still I’d stay there again!

I would not recommend this hotel. Everything is an upgraded charge.. The staff told me that it was forbidden to eat in our rooms. That they could not provide glassware for the rooms, even though they had a full bar. There was no ability to heat up my 4 year old daughter’s food… They refused to use their own microwave. Not a good family, friendly hotel at all.

Very clean and safe property. So close to the Juan Les Pins beach. Lots of delicious food around for all times of the day (bakeries for breakfast, markets for fruits/snacks, take away meals for lunch and beach front dinners). Had a very nice time here.

This is my second time in this property. First one was amazing so tried a second time. I had no idea that I have selected a room without a balcony this time. So asked the receptionist to pay more but not possible. Room no 15 is the worst room ever. The cleaning ladies wake you up early every morning and the office room I believe is on top of this room. A lady was walking with high heels all day above us. This holiday turned out to be not ease but stress. I asked a change again but NO.

We found the hotel with only alittle detour thrown in and that's mainly thanks to google maps loosing GPS signal. We drove up into the forecourt to unload the bags and once checked in, I had to move the car to the rear of the hotel to access the underground parking, which infact meant driving around the block and doubling back on myself to get to the entrance.. no big drama to be fair. The hotel lobby and reception area is nice, and well appointed. The room was large and refurnished to a decent standard but it's obvious to see the architecture is old. Obvously not as nice as the pictures portray but comfortable nonetheless. The seperate toilet was clean but completely devoid of character. Hang a picture or an artificial plant, something...! The bathroom was better but the lit mirror was spontaneous due to a faulty wiring and the bathroom shower seal was ineffective allowing water from the shower to spill out onto the floor which is a pet hate. Towels were a little wash worn, but there were more than enough for the three of us so no issues here. We ate out so I cant comment on the breakfast, which was just a tad overpriced in my opinion. Overall, a good stay but for the price, I was hoping for better.
