Days Inn by Wyndham Waynesville NC

We chose Days Inn, Waynesville, NC, for convenience, but were not expecting it to be this fabulous. We love it and plan to return again. The most unexpected amenity was the private balconies with rocking chairs -- for every room. The view of the mountains is fantastic and is available for every room because of the unique design of the building. There aren't any 'backside' rooms. All rooms have the great view. There is an elevator which helps a lot to get to the upper floors.

Breakfast - wasn't much to it - some yogurt or some kind of.other protein would be helpful

The room was clean, but the bath cloths were very stained, the TV cable was broken so we had no TV reception for our stay, the room keys stopped working and had to be reprogramed. We were told the second day of our stay that they had another room available, if we wanted to move. No other room available the first day. The staff was very friendly, and the location was great, only five miles from our conference. Bathroom door did not close well, and the shower door was off the track when we checked in

The booking .com messed up my reservation and it cost me more.

My spouse was going to have surgery nearby early in the morning. We went through Expedia to get the room. Paid the Expedia amount. We used our points. Days Inn charged us their price and 50.00 more in top of that. Had to talk to Expediaa and Days Inn is supposed to refund what they charged. Room was clean. Breakfast barely had anything at 7am.aside from oatmeal, cereal, baby waffles, a few slices of bread, maybe three little muffins. I was looking for orange juice. Bagels.

It was adequate for my purposes. Remote control seemed to be missing, but I wasn't planning to watch much tv anyway. Shower worked, but the water temperature didn't have much of a middle ground. Turn it to the right, it was very hot. Turn it to the left and it was cold, middle was off. Location was nice enough, though I didn't notice anything in walking distance, but a Lowe's hardware. Chairs in the room were stained. The bed seemed fine, just too soft for my liking. The room had a balcony with rocking chairs. Staff were friendly enough. Didn't hear anyone else, so the room was quiet enough to get a good restful sleep.

The view. Clean. Quiet.
