Hotel Bellepierre

Had a good time, the room service was good and the hotel has a nice view and looks great. Will defiantly be staying here again next time I visit.

Amazing scenario

Interestingly designed late 20c transit hotel with fabulous views over St Denis and the ocean. Don't miss dinner in the panoramic resto after dark. Food excellent for its class. Ample parking , pleasant pool on lofty terrace. Interiors a bit faded and the small lobby with bar felt often like a loading bay. Spartan but functional rooms.

Business hotel with no good amenities. Bed and bedding terrible. Bathroom ageing. Gym non-existent. Swimming pool just off reception, not good for actually swimming. Restaurant expensive and not worth the money. The view is nice but the smell is off-putting.

We stayed 2 days. Hotel is old but well maintained. Friendly service with prompt welcome drinks. Hotel is on the hill overlooking the city. Great panoramic views day and night! Nothing interesting in the immediate neighbourhood. Have to take a bus (1.30 Euro) or taxi (10 Euro) to get to town or back.

As a couple, we had a very enjoyable stay for two nights. The restaurant food is exceptional and the view is fantastic. One thing the hotel MUST change is the welcome letter, automatically addressed to "Mme and M [surname]." It is a stupid gesture that assumes that two people sharing a bed are married and heterosexual. Not all their guests fit into that category.

We stayed in one of the executive rooms with a sea view, and for what we paid, we were disappointed. Yes you could see the sea, but it was off to the side and had a big crane in the way. The room was no bigger than a regular hotel room. The bathroom was very fancy, however had windows to the rest of the room, kind of strange. The buffet breakfast was excellent, favourite part of my stay, lots to eat and quality food. And lastly, while the staff were helpful for the most part, there seemed to be somewhat of a condisending attitude towards my fiance and I. Perhaps our trekking style of luggage wasn't of their typical clientelle, but we did just finish a back country trip around Madagascar so bear with us, we weren't expecting the Air France strike to land us here overnight. So overall I liked the hotel, but it was definitely not memorable.

A nice and clean hotel well-located on St Denis heights with a beautiful view of the town. The staff are pleasant and helpful. I forgot a shirt in my room and they send it back to me. I am very satisfied with this hotel. I recommend it.

Superb view of the City (St-Denis) from the rooms, excellent restaurant and friendly staff, walking distance from the City center (30 mns), only regret the lack of coffee and tea facilities in the room + free bottle of water but it is the way they do it in France so no real complain. Excellent value for money, I would recommend the Bellepierre Hotel to anyone staying in St-Denis.
