This property was absolutely not as advertised — dirty, poorly maintained, and managed with a shocking lack of honesty. When we arrived, the floors were visibly dirty. We wiped a small patch ourselves and were horrified by how black the cloth became. It wasn’t just staining — there was loose dirt and debris, and the floor was sticky in places. This is not a one-off issue: it’s clear the floor hasn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time, likely just vacuumed between guests, if that. We reported this on day one. The host responded and said a cleaner would come the next day. That never happened. The following day, we chased again — once more, we were promised a cleaner. Again, no one came. When we explained that we were cutting our stay short due to the state of the apartment and broken promises, the host suddenly changed their story, claiming someone had come to “check the apartment” on the very first day. We know for a fact that no one visited. It was a blatant attempt to cover up the inaction. The excuses were absurd. At one point, the host claimed the dirty floor was due to cleaning chemicals removing the finish — completely ignoring our repeated explanation that we were stepping on actual dirt and debris, not just discoloured tiles. This place is unclean, misrepresented, and not properly managed. Avoid it entirely — and Booking.com should seriously reconsider listing it.

Excellent communication, the apartment is spacious and very comfortable for a family of four. Less than five minutes from the historic center of the beautiful city of Como.

The apartment was great and in a good position for food, groceries and to explore the old town which was amazing. We should have organised on site parking when we booked as street parking was impossible. Very happy with our stay.
