Einishus Cottages

Lovely property very cosy and warm. The surrounding areas are beautiful. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring. We made use of the cooking facilities for the week this was really handy. Perfect location for exploring the north.

This house was the most expensive that we paid in Iceland. For the price and arriving after a very long day and still needed to do the bed was disappointing. The bed is a bit soft, which makes it uncomfortable in my opinion. The pictures aren't accurate, as the house needs some tlc. For me, the house didn't feel comfy, and it was not extremely clean. The towels were not white, which for me is an important detail. Also, upon arrival there were dozens of flies inside, and every time we opened a window a lot more came in, as they were in the gaps of every window. Even at night more flies appeared. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, instead of relaxing, we were killing flies.

Great location, wonderful hot tub, everything you need for a lovely stay and in a good base to explore the diamond circle, myvatn and more!

Only a minor thing that the WiFi wasn't the strongest in comparison to other places we've stayed in iceland. Fast enough for your phones, but we use laptops, so just a small note :)

Beautiful and comfortable cottage. Me and my family had a wonderful time. Beautiful views. Kitchen was well equipped. Private hot tub was wonderful.
