"Komfort in Altstadtnähe"

Gut geführtes, komfortables Hotel in guter Lage, etwas westlich von Altstadt und Festung. Sehr freundliches Personal (besonders hervorzuheben sind die Dame beim Frühstück und der "ältere Herr" an der Rezeption). Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und mit guter Auswahl, z. T. mit typisch kretischen Dingen. Dem Wunsch nach glutenfreiem Brot wurde problemlos nachgekommen; an den meisten Tagen gab es glutenfreie Extras (Pancakes, Crepes ...). Unsere "Superior Suiten" waren geräumig und hatten einen schönen Meerblick. Eine Jalousie sorgte für gute Verdunkelung und dämmte gut die Außengeräusche (Straße zwischen Hotel und Meer). Ansprechende Architektur. Im Restaurant faire Preise und gutes Essen.

Hier gibt es eigentlich nichts zu erwähnen. Beim Vergleich zu manchen anderen (kritischeren) Bewertungen ist evtl. zu beachten, dass unser Aufenthalt in der Nebensaison stattfand, in der das Hotel nicht ausgelastet war.

pool, breakfast, view, ability to bring our 2 dogs

When we were greeted upon our arrival, the receptionist seemed displeased that one of our dogs was on the larger size, however, when I booked the reservation and requested to bring the dogs, there were no questions about size. The rest of the staff were friendly.

Alakerroksissa ei välttämättä ole kovin kummoista merinäköalaa.
