Grand Oaks Hotel

We liked the breakfast but would suggest they get a second waffle maker bc the line to use it was always very long. Also would suggest purchasing chocolate milk along with the white milk.

We were very disappointed that the pool had to be closed till 1:00 making us not be able to utilize it.

I liked how clean it was

The swimming pools were not available, but online it states you all have swimming pools and that’s the reason I booked there. I went swimming elsewhere. Also, my microwave did not work.

Good location on the strip

Dirty. Over booked for swimming pool capacity. Pool was filthy. And then shut down after our first day there. Breakfast was terrible.

the breakfast was good, needs changing every once in a while. same thing every day gets a little old. and with as many people, you have to wait in line to make a waffle. (probably need to have more than one waffle maker) or better yet make them in the back room, and put them out on a hot plate. (since most people can't follow the direction clearing posted.)

the pool isn't watched. one night over 50 people were in that small pool. guest were leaving the outside door open, so people off the street were coming in. so the day of the big party and the day after, the pool was out of order and could not be used.

All together it wasn’t bad, asking for towels instead of having the room made or towels ready without asking would’ve changed the experience. Also having people pull up to the back door for the pool felt like we weren’t able to allow our children the full opportunity or experience for the pool we also booked the his hotel for. The location is actually pretty good for the adventures we planned, and felt centrally located for the things that interested us. All in all the hotel gave us a great experience for our stay but things could be addressed to make it more enjoyable.

Perfect location, great breakfast, double hot tub, comfortable beds. Really nice place all around.

The water didn’t get very warm.
