Grand River Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean accommodations.

We were on the third floor and the elevator broke down. I am handicapped and had difficulty getting down. The staff was very helpful carrying our heavier items. Breakfast was gone before the stated time.

I didn't like anything. We got there with an advanced reservation but they had sold our room to someone else.

They sold our room to someone else even though we had a reservation and arrived before 9pm. We had to go to another hotel and pay twice as much due to last minute rates

Paul at the front desk was excellent! Friendly and a great personality! Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious. Could not hear other guests which kept our min pins from barking at anyone. Great value for what you get.

Tub was broken. Furniture had a lot of wear. No charging ports. Exhaust fan was shorting out and would not shut off was making a humming noise. Weird loud noise every so often which sounded like a building issue not guests. TV’s were pretty small.

For the star review and the price. I expected a dump. But this place was really nice and comfortable.

No clean towels in the swimming pool. Worst breakfast we've had in USA, including 2* hotels. Check in process was long as computer wasn't working apparently.

It was very well maintained & updated. The breakfast had real scrambled eggs. It was conveniently located. The room was large & the bed comfortable.

The hot water in the shower only lasted a couple minutes.

Free parking, excellent breakfast, not lame continental, but full eggs and sausage, excellent coffee. Best value I have experienced on an app. Definitely will return. Beware, other hotels in Parachute charge for parking, but you won't find out until you check-in. Not so with this hotel. Room was high quality. Pool and hot tub clean and working. You will enjoy your stay at this location!
