Tlou Safari Lodge

Siamo stati due notti a Kasane, principalmente per visitare il Chobe, e abbiamo alloggiato in questo lodge. In realtà non c'è molto da ridire, noi eravamo alloggiati in una matrimoniale superior, che era un vero e proprio appartamento (soggiorno, cucina, camera da letto e bagno con doccia e vasca), veranda e posto auto di fronte, veramente enorme. Abbiamo fatto colazione e cenato entrambe le sere al ristorante annesso.. niente da ricordare ma nemmeno pessimo. Abbiamo fatto con loro anche le escursioni e devo dire ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene, si appoggiano a delle agenzie e non sono safari in esclusiva, ma il prezzo mi è sembrato equo. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, sempre presente; certo ci si perde in piccole cose, tipo avevamo chiesto in prestito un adattatore e ce lo hanno fatto comprare (100 pula)...

Forse il nome trae un pò in inganno, perchè ci si aspetta un lodge "africano", di quelli tutti in legno e con la veranda sul fiume, questa è una struttura più "moderna" e sostanzialmente tutta "grigia" e squadrata Il ristorante è aperto anche ai "non ospiti" e la seconda sera siamo arrivati in concomitanza con una festa di compleanno e siamo rimasti ad aspettare il nostro cibo per un'ora abbondante.... Tutto sommato è stata una buona esperienza, ma se dovessi tornare cercherei qualcosa con un pò più di atmosfera..

Super schöne Anlage, viel besser als auf den Fotos! Super Pool mit Stühlen, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, gutes Restaurant, Wäscheservice, super Organisation für Touren, Supermarkt und Fastfood Restaurant gerade nebenan. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

This was our first, but definitely not the last time. Seamless organization of a group trip – helpful support with transfers and arranging activities in Kasane, delicious food – highly recommended.

Everything fine

At the check in even though we reminded the employee that we had booked a superior room she gave us a smaller accommodation and we had to repack everything when we realised it was the wrong one !!!

Clean and neat

Ambience of the place, attentive staff - nothing tok much trouble and thd independence of having your own little home.

Not a dislike but it would have been helpful to know that the owners are Muslim and no alcohol is served on the premises.
