Jefferson Inn

I had booked this Motel on the basis of a 7 plus rating on hotels.com which is usually accurate, but not in this case. The toilet had faces in it, there was a massive cobweb in the corner of the room, hair stuck to the shower wall and I had an ant in my bed. The room was just grubby and unclean in general and in the top two worst rooms I’ve stayed in, in the last 18 of extensive travel for business and pleasure.

The bed was incredibly comfortable.

It was perfect for one night

Like Motel 6 but a little less expensive.

Wifi would have been nice, in fact for a stay longer that one night (for me) it would be a necessity for work.

Nothing

Everything. Ugly, dirty. Dried coffee pack in coffee machine…. The worst place I’ve even taken.

You get what you pay for. The cost was minimal and what we needed for a getaway to the Shasta Area. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and offered recommendations. Nice shower and comfortable bed.

I needed a safe, easy place to spend the night close to I-5 ( I'm a single solo female). This is conveniently located and the one guy at the desk was nice enough, but that's about it. The room was really old and dirty in places. The walls are so thin I could hear TVs on both sides pretty late. The coffee machine leaked and eventually made very weak coffee. There were paint stains on the bed cover and the chair. I guess the price was ok... I was glad to get up early and get back on the road.

The location was very central, within walking distance (maybe 15 minutes) to historic Yreka. The room was comfortable, with amenities. There was a large closet and TV as well..

No heat in bathroom but probably enough from main part of room but the main heater was on the far wall from the bathroom door. Maybe a heat lamp in bathroom would help.
