Country Cottage of Langley

The hosts and other guests were most pleasant and nice and were very helpful. We loved the deer on the property

I didn't like the price we were charged. $350/ nite was steep

Breakfast was extremely good, but served at 900am which made getting an early start exploring the area a nonstarter. Not a problem for us, but might be for others or on a different trip.

WiFi was available, but so slow that we gave up catching up on mail after a 7 day cruise.

This was such a lovely place to stay in Langley, conveniently located to town, quiet, and cozy. We felt very well taken care of!

The cottage was small but pretty, some of the others were larger I believe. Lots of wildlife, even some deer walked through the yard. The island is gorgeous as well, lots of trees and plants. The breakfast was good and they were able to accommodate us when we said we didn’t like eggs. It really helped us as we slept in longer than expected so having the food ready to eat so we could rush off to what we wanted to do was nice.

Getting to the island can be a pain and there was a long line for the ferry. Not really the owners fault for that one but is something you should consider if you are not from the island.

Jackie and Tom, were incredibly attentive, gave great foodie recommendations, activities. The breakfast was on par with the level of dining found at downtown restaurants .

Everything was great except the billing.

Price quoted was much less than what was charged. No responses were received to the messages questioning the overcharges.

It's very dated and overly decorated. The bed is lumpy and noisy and the pillows are shapeless. There are unclean areas such as the dirty carpet and the slimy shower knob.
