The Vendange Carmel Inn & Suites

The lovely welcome from the man in reception was very appreciated. He also told us where to eat (delicious) & tried to make our stay the best he could.

Needed a car (or young legs) to go to central Carmel.

No closet☹️

Larger than we expected. The kitchen was fantastic. A six-burner stove with large oven, and a very large island. Lots of cupboard/closet space throughout the suite. King-sized bed was very comfortable. Lovely walk-in shower. Supplied a shower stool quickly when requested. Bathroom and dressing area came in handy with a walk-in closet and additional counter with mirror and stool.

Getting in and out of the parking lot was a bit difficult, and some of it was very dark, but the desk person was very helpful when I had a problem with parking. He also helped carry in our belongings. Much of the drive from the 101 was dark and winding road. Next time I will be sure and arrive in daylight.

Room was clean and bed is comfortable. Good location

Room is extremelysmall. It's not enough space ever for 2 people. For that price I expected something bigger. There is no table in the room, only outside.

It's a good location, its cute, pillows are so comfy and bottled water available. It's modernized, pets allowed.

One of the receptionist was rude and lacks customer service. I called to ask a question and I didnt even wanna check in later because I was concerned I'd have to deal with her again. There was no one available to check me out and give me my receipt. There's no food like for dinner or snacks.

Property was in an excellent area. It was quite and close located to the City center. The hotel was very well maintained and had everything what I needed. Even my little pup felt very welcomed. He got extra treats and a dog bed would have been available if needed.

My room had access to a small garden patio. Traveling with a small dog, so it was convenient for him to go out, without being leashed. The room was perfect for me. It's actually a good size for two people, for me being alone, it was great. The bed was large (King) and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

A small table for my laptop would be nice. I used the foot stool. Also, the walk in shower had no matt. At home, I use a Japanese bamboo shower mat. Recommend shower shoes (flip flops), if no mat. Or bring your own rubber mat.
