Monterey Motel

My friends apt was nicer than ours but not by much.

Very nice place. Pool was awesome, room was very clean and nice. Our unit smelled a little like milldew but other than that it was great. Good location as well. Would definately stay here again!

Large spacious room with kitchen & full refrigerator. Bedroom with 2 beds plus a pull out couch. Manager was always around & very nice, she even offered us some birthday cake! Beach is literally right there & has a volleyball court as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Property was nice and we had a nice room. Wifi kept going out thought. Keys didn't work very well in the door. My daughter took the keys back when we were leaving and the lady at the front desk made a comment to her "So how many people did you really have in the room". We took offense at this as we were attending a Wedding in the area and asked for extra towels. We are of retirement age and I assure you we had no other people than the 5 we reserved for in our room. We took this very offensively when my daughter told us this and I really felt like turning around and confronting the desk clerk.

This is a 5 star location with a motel 6 feel. The location is great, beach front and a million dollar view. We only stay one night and it was fine, but could never stay longer. Beds were like sleeping on plastic wrap.This units are own individually by different owners, so you may luck out. Depends, do you feel lucky?? eh??

This was such a nice weekend in October at the shore. The boardwalk was winding down and we enjoyed some last little bits of summer.

We have stayed at The Monterey many times for 20 plus years. LOVE being right on the beach!

We like the Monterey because it is on the beach in Wildwood Crest and it is only a 10 minute drive to Cape May or the Wildwood Boardwalk. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great views from the beachfront rooms.

We stayed in unit 105. It desperately needs to be updated. There was not enough seating. There were holes in the walls. The beds were very uncomfortable. We left a night early because we could not stay there another night. It is unfortunate because the outside is neat and well taken care of. Nice pool and patio area. It is right on the beach, however not worth staying there.

Very clean, perfect for kids.
