Regency Inn Motel by the Beach

Air conditioning was great. Microwave and refrigerator good.

Bedroom lights for reading were very dim. Hot water in wash basin was never hot, only tepid. Parking was tight..

Staff was friendly and quick to resolve an issue we had. For the money, it wasn't a bad place to stay for a night.

Although the room was somewhat clean, our concern was how stained every towel we had was.

Very good location. Plenty of parking and 1 minute from a bus stop. Staff was pleasant but I arrived 12 minutes early and was told by someone who may have worked there to just left the phone. I did so and apologised for being a little early. I said i would wait but was offered early check in for $10. I chose to wait. She lasted 10 minutes.The hotel was quite nice albeit a little dated. I liked everything and would have stayed longer but felt they would probably be inflexible with having to check out at 11 then back in at 3 if they couldn't cope with a 12 minute early arrival so I went somewhere else where I was greeted 3 hours to early and offered early check in.

No toilet paper. Blow dryer wasn’t working. Bed sheet had stains all over them.

Cleaner bed sheets. Fully stocked toiletries. Working supplies.
