Nomada Container Hotel Panama City

The price was a great value for the area. The unit seemed a bit worn and has low quality finishes, but overall it was fine and functional for a one night stay.

Staying at the Nomada Container Hotel was a positive and unique experience for our party of travelers. The location was fantastic and a short, inexpensive taxi ride from the city center. Staff member Franco was attentive and responsive. The facilities were clean and unexpectedly spacious. I recommend the Nomada for your next stay in Panama City.

You can stay in a shipping container! It's a fun unique experience and they try to limit their environmental footprint. It caters to the backpacker sort of people so the rooms are very basic and there's an nice outside area with chairs and a deck where you can hang out and have drinks with others. My room had a bed, wardrobe, desk, TV (but you had to provide Netflix or videos), and a bathroom with a nice shower. Like a hotel, there was free WiFi, soap and shampoo, and towels. The downsides were the hotel was starting to show its age a little bit and fixtures were getting loose in the walls (like the towel rack) and the little AC unit wasn't strong enough to cool down the room in the heat of the day. But I spent most of my time out of my room so it didn't bother me.

Awesome lodging that feels like your own apartment

Having a kitchenette was a great option, as it also included a huge window on the end of the container. Liked the privacy, key codes to enter the room, rather than carry around clunky hotel key. Hotel is off a main street, and walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Luis the supervisor was very accommodating and helpful.

Rooms were recycled shipping containers. Very funky, plain and simple . Dishes and small fridge provided. Good space for clothes and belongings. Great location. Free wifi. I don’t think it has been open very long. They used the cheapest fixtures in the bathroom and they are already showing wear and tear. Sheets were very thin and no mattress pad and thin pillows and cheap towels. The room was not expensive but I would pay a bit more for more Luxurious towels and better quality bedding..not even a fitted sheet so by 2 am I was sleeping on the bare mattress. Cafe on site but was not open by the time we left at 9am .

Cool and fun experience. The rooms are very nice. Large, spacious, clean, comfortable and UNIQUE. You have to give it a try. Your friends will be jealous.
