Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Everett by IHG

We booked 3 nights at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Everett. I prepaid during online check in. However, 1 day after checking out, my card was charged an ADDITIONAL $706, in addition to the actual charge. Management, Mr Kang, son of the owners, has dragged his feet to refund my money, even with proof & his statement that the clerk made an error. My daughter is in Everett. We were there, so as a family, we could take a large donation to an animal rescue, located in Seattle, in the name of my late son. My car sat parked in the hotel parking lot for more than 48 hours, as we rode with her and then didn’t leave the house until check out. In those 48 hours, the catalytic converter was stolen from under my car- while parked in the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Everett parking, 20’ from the main entrance, in a handicapped parking slot, 5’ from the building! Once again, the owner’s son/manager, Mr Kang refuses to accept any responsibility for the theft, and I am out another $464 to replace the missing catalytic converter. This location is located in a bad neighborhood, high crime, high vagrancy, pan handlers harassing people at businesses that are within 1/2 block from the hotel. My mother felt unsafe taking her 11 lb ESA dog out after dark. The hotel has NO SECURITY WHATSOEVER. Next time, we will be staying at our usual location, Best Western Navigator Inn. They have security 24/7.

This hotel appears to be heavily used. Nonetheless, the bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. Kelly, the breakfast cook/attendant will absolutely brighten your morning. She couldn’t be nicer or more attentive to her breakfast offerings and related items. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels and Kelly is one of the very best breakfast attendants we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Kelly is 5 star all the way.

Very clean and attractive decor. Comfortable beds and room temperature was great. The breakfast was good and coffee was plentiful. Overall a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Hallway was excessively noisy until about 10:45 pm, would’ve preferred to be placed further away from other guests.

We always stay here because of how close it is to our daughter and the exceptional service and value. Our favorite is the friendly staff, 24 hour coffee and tea and full breakfast.
