It was too expensive

First the good points: great location and walking distance from the harbour. The hotel has a cheerful decor and gives a tropical vibe. Rooms are quite large. Now the weaknesses: Hotel says you have USD 15 credit per day which serves no purpose since the breakfast costs USD 45 per person. Not a breakfast to write about. The credit cannot be used at the coffeeshop which has berter choices available. The staff interaction leaves a lot of room for improvement. We were 3 adults and requested if we can have 3 water bottles and we were told only 2 bottles will be given though it was the hotel’s internal brand! I needed to do a zoom call and asked reception where I can I take it - I was told to sit on the sofa in front of floor elevator. As soon as I started the call, a staff came and said I need to move as it is quiet zone!! Why mislead me? The bathroom shower is old fashioned with low water pressure- wish they will get a new one which can change the pressure as per need. The shower gel was not replaced by housekeeping so I used shampoo instead!

The property was clean and decorated very nice. Rooms was spacious. Restaurants on site.

1. No one told me that I had a $15 food credit a day until I checked my reservation. I had to ask about it. 2. Tv stopped working on day two. 3. The water pressure is so low in the shower and sink that you feel like you didn’t even take a shower. Told them about it at check out because we come in late and there was no one at the desk. They said that they would refund some money back, that never happened. They told me that there’s no note on that and there was nothing wrong with the TV. Of course they would say that. Very disappointed with such a popular hotel brand. I’m glad my stay was only 2 nights.

The location is great. Right there next to Petco Park! Gaslamp quarter. Walk to any great restaurant located around the hotel. Nice casual walk down to the harbor. Inside the hotel is the Landshark restaurant! Highly recommend Happy Hour there. Also Happy Hour upstairs at 5' OClock Somewhere. Ask for server, Thomas. If he's there. He's awesome!! Tell him the Arizona couple with the vanilla vodka says "Hi" lol.....You also get a $100.00 credit to use at the hotel., with your AMEX deal. There is a "resort fee" to which we knew before hand, but hey no problem, it's well worth it! Great atmosphere, with a beach vibe and of course, Jimmy Buffet music playing. Relaxing, fun welcoming decor everywhere. We reserved a regular king room, and with the AMEX hotel offer, we were offered a free upgrade based on availability and there was. We were graciously given a "spa suite" room, with a HUGE bathtub. It was a corner room (534) with a great view of BOBO's bar, the Naked Donkey and of course Petco Park. We absolutely loved the room. The Padres had an afternoon game and the streets were bustling with fans. Super fun. This is our second visit to Margaritaville San Diego and we can not say enough about this cute, very clean beachy vibe hotel. Hotel staff is great. From the front desk, porters, Landshark restaurant, 5 o'clock Somewhere and even housekeeping. Fantastic! We highly recommend this hotel. 5 Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you staff at Margaritaville, San Diego and as they say in Maui, "a hui hou", "until we meet again"

The location was in the centre of the Gaslamp area which was fantastic to get around. It’s around the corner from the baseball stadium which is ideal if you plan to go to a game, which we did! Great fun and really recommend. Pool was good, always got a sun lounger but feel if the hotel was busier it may be tricker to get a sun lounger. We had a great time. Beds are SOOOO comfy! Room was a nice size and spacious!

I wouldn’t say there was anything we didn’t like. Just a note that they take a security charge whilst you stay which is a $125 PER NIGHT which is not stated anywhere on booking.com so just be aware of that if booking(We stayed 5 nights = $625). It gets refunded on departure but still something to keep in mind - most hotels is USA do it.

Very well located hotel in the Gaslamp area of Downtown San Diego, very close to PetCo Park for the Padres games and many restaurants and bars. The hotel's Landshark bar was also nice for a drink in the afternoon. The rooftop pool looked fun (although I didn't use it) and the gym was well equipped. 20 - 30 mins walk to the USS Midway; a bit longer to Balboa Park.

Nothing I didn't like. The hotel feels like it is a much older hotel that has recently been refreshed (which is fine) but it is not the most luxurious if that is what you are after. With hindsight, I would not have paid the headline rates before the reductions.

Odalardaki elektroniklerin tümü halen usb gerektiriyor bu yüzden hoparlör vs gibi şeyler olsa da kullanamadım. Ayrıca odada hemen hemen her köşede bulunan nesnenin üstüne bunu giderken götürmeyin aşağıda satıyoruz yoksa size bunun parasını ödetiriz gibi nezaketsiz ve devamlı olarak tehdit altında hissettiğiniz misafir değil potansiyel hırsız gibi hissettiren yazılar olması sinir bozucuydu. El sabununda bile! Hahahaha. Bu otelin NYC otelindeki konaklamamdan çok mutlu ayrıldığım için San Dirgo’da da burayı seçtim ama çok büyük hayalkırıklığıydı açıkçası. Bir daha gelirsem burda kalmayacağımı da biliyorum. Otopark ise 70 usd çok fahiş aynı sokaktaki kapalı otoparkta tüm gece sadece 13 usd ödediğimi görünce gerçekten kendimi kandırılmış hissettim. Değmez.
