Petit Palace Puerta del Sol

I had an amazing stay at Petit Palace Puerta del Sol! The standout features of my experience were definitely the location and the incredible staff. The location is beyond perfect. It is just steps away from Puerta del Sol and within easy walking distance of major underground and bus stations, making everything super accessible. However, the staff truly made my stay extra special. Caroline was absolutely wonderful—she made the check-in and check-out process incredibly smooth. She even went the extra mile to help me tweak my Madrid itinerary, suggesting a couple of hidden gems, including an amazing spot for local artists' work. I also want to give a special shout-out to the morning shift intern (whose name I unfortunately forgot!). I can't thank them enough for making my time in Madrid unforgettable.

The location was a bit tricky to explain to the taxi driver specially that it's in a pedestrian area. However, that didn't impact my stay in a negative way at all.

The location was superb.

Pillows are very thin. Air con was not working properly when we arrived but they fixed it the first day that we complained. For those with mobility issues, the hotel is in a pedestrian only area so you must walk your luggage a couple of blocks to get to it. No issue for us though.
